Join Virtual NYC Urban Sketchers in sketching one of the most breathtaking places in America. SEDONA, Arizona  is situated at the lower end of Arizona's spectacular Oak Creek Canyon, renowned for its stunning red rock formations and surrounding lush forests. It is also a well known mystical haven for  for spiritual wellness, due to the numerous energy vortexes known to populate the region. Approximately 3,000,000 tourists visit Sedona every year attracted by its magical landscape and the thrill of outdoor, indoor, and spiritual adventures in this truly unforgettable place.

For today's sketching exploration, you may consider focusing on one or several of the many landscapes during the different seasons, weather conditions, or time of day. You can also focus on the wildflowers and plants of the region. Just enjoy the magic of looking at America's Red Rock Region.
